This letter is a formal complaint and request for all CC'd (except Markell) to bring to your attention the issue of the State of Delaware's on-going conspiracy to embargo facts/IAQ test results concerning mycotoxins in all of the public buildings.
My story begins in fall '01, when my now ex-wife was teaching at Seaford High school in Seaford, Delaware. We were toxic mold refugees from Las Vegas who arrived in Delaware (I am a native Delawarean) in need of shelter and work. As I was a party to my wife's actual job interview, the school administration asked how we got to Delaware and we described to them our story of being evacuated from our condo in Vegas. The principal of the school said, "toxic mold - what's that?" Some months later we became privvy to the DHSS report dated July of '01 (one month before we arrived in DE/the interview) which described the DHSS's visual findings of mold in the Seaford High school, as well as their ineffective means of treating the problem, which was to just wash it down w/bleach...
From day one, my wife had suffered severe asthma attacks while on duty at school and she complained that they were not accommodating her disability, i.e., they would not move her to a room where there was no construction and no moldy ceiling tiles, which were prevalent. The teachers there had warned her not to talk about the mold or she would get fired, as this had happened to several teachers.
As the school year wore on, our frustration was so high that we decided the only way to get answers was to contact Governor Minner's office. We did that. They said, "put it in writing." We did. The letter came out to be 21 pages with almost as many pages of supporting documents (like the Dr. Llewellyn intra-school email dated October, '01, which disclosed my confidential information to the entire school staff and another bit of surprising information which i will describe later). That letter was CC'd to 14 other agencies, some of whom are re-listed to receive this letter.
Two weeks after sending that letter out, we received a call from the EPA by a gentleman named "Steve." Steve began to tell us about how the EPA was rejected jurisdiction by Governor Tom Carper in 1993, after President Clinton gave the states the power to accept or reject EPA jurisdiction. Steve described a scenario where the Seaford High school boiler room blew up and sent asbestos and other micro-materials high into the air. He described the media coverage. The EPA arrived on the scene and were told "don't come back." According to Steve, that was the last time the EPA was in Delaware.
Going back to the school year, I had decided to ask the Seaford School District (Dr. Norr?) about performing IAQ tests to determine for sure if there is mold in the building, since Dr. Llewellyn was not interested in performing any IAQ test upon our request, even though the report that he wrote one month prior to our arrival in Delaware stated that he found black mold in the auditorium.
They hemmed and hawed and finally said, "if you want the building tested, you will have to pay for it yourself." So I began calling all the industrial hygienist companies I could find in the local Yellow Pages. Several of them told me straight out that all the buildings in Delaware have been tested (the other bit of surprising information) - "and they are all full of mold."
Has anyone in the Delaware public been able to review those IQA findings, presumably since 1993?
To make a very long story short, Governor Markell is currently refusing to provide any answers to my May, 2002, letter to Governor Minner. The only tangible response we got was from "Steve" at the EPA who said they can't step foot in Delaware.
In May of 2006, after many attempts to get an answer from Minner, she had a State Police officer call my cell phone and threaten me w/jail if I inquire further.
Thinking things were going to be different w/a new governor, I began my inquiries w/this new administration. First they said I could meet w/Governor Markell after he is sworn-in. Next they reneged that and said I could speak w/his constituent relations department. They also said they were working w/the Department of Health (DHSS) as to when they could schedule a meeting. After two weeks of waiting to be scheduled, they are now refusing this option as well.
I have told them that I fully intend to bring outside attention to this issue from other states, particularly the ones who grant EPA jurisdiction; the states who disclose IAQ test results; the states who implement their budgets to remediate and in some cases tear down old/build new schools, all as a result of their pro-active stance against mycotoxins, quite the opposite of Dr. Llewellyn/DHSS.
So either Delaware wins the "no-toxic-mold-in-any-public-building-ever" award (no state has won that), or they are not sharing certain information.
And what of the budget that is in place to fix these types of problems; what about the sick students; what about the wrongful terminations; what about State servants who do not answer citizen inquiries; what about "democracy?"
Based on personal experience (much more to this story), it's apparent to me that they are hiding something and most people know you don't hide anything good. Similar to the concept of "secret societies," after short investigation you can easily discover that they are all Satanic organizations - that's the "secret."
So what are they hiding? Perhaps some IAQ test results dating back to 1993, that would probably make Connecticut, Illinois, or Massachusetts very concerned...?
I ask all of you here now (except Markell) to provide your feedback on this true account and to email this letter to all whom you think in good conscience will help us all press forward w/the struggle against this form of government fascism.
Tell me who is right: the "pro-actives", or the "pooh-poohers" of mycotoxins. Provide your feedback on whether or not states should be required to be consistent w/one another, by federal law, to disclose IAQ test results, and also be required to be proactive against mycotoxins in public buildings.
In this regard, it is not fair that people in other states are treated w/respect and dignity and are protected from these deadly organisms (considering mycotoxins are classified bio-warfare agents, and you need a "prescription" for mycotoxins in pill form ("anti-biotics" = anti-life) - just as it is not fair that people in other states are able to use Cannabis for medicinal purposes, but not Delaware.
Nothing "fair" about "fascist" Delaware, where it's a "state sovereignty." So if you are a state employee in Delaware and your building has mold and it's making you sick, there is no compensation for it - you can't sue the state of Delaware. Mycotoxins do not exist as far as they are concerned. All the lawyers here are in on the scam as well. Everyone here just acquiesces to the evil around them. NO ONE stands up to these dictators running Delaware.
Your feedback is requested - and action, if you can. Delaware government needs to understand that no one deserves to treated like this and the rest of America needs to know of what is going on here - because what is happening in Delaware is Un-American. It is straight-up dictatorial/fascist.
